Mental Approach & Performance Discipline

One poor shot can be enough to change the tone of a round. What starts as disappointment can quickly turn into analysis, frustration and a running commentary on everything that is going wrong.

You start paying more attention to the mistake than the next shot. A bad strike becomes evidence that something is wrong, and the more attention you give it, the harder it becomes to settle back into the round.

Mental Approach & Performance Discipline looks at how you respond when things do not go to plan, how quickly self-criticism takes over and whether you can keep one mistake from becoming several.

What This Assessment Looks At

This assessment looks at what happens when your own judgement starts getting in the way of your golf, including:

• How quickly one poor shot changes the way you judge your game
• Whether mistakes stay contained or follow you into the next shot
• How much attention goes into analysing what just went wrong
• Whether frustration changes your routine, commitment or decision-making
• How well you can reset and stay with the shot in front of you

What This Assessment Gives You

• Your current position across the five Golf Clarity levels
• A clearer view of how self-criticism is influencing your golf
• The situations where frustration and judgement are most likely to take over
• A breakdown of what is already holding up and where discipline starts to slip
• Practical recommendations, drills and an improvement pathway based on your result
